Tracking automated deck generation
The main purpose of this page is to track the progress of your presentation automation workflow.Batch generation progress card
The top card of the page is the batch generation progress card. It shows:- Progress bar: a progress bar with the percentage and number of presentations generated relative to the total number of presentations this workflow will generate
- Start time: the time when the generation started in your local timezone
- Completed: the time when generation finished in your local timezone
- Failed: the number of presentations that failed during the generation process

Different progress statuses
There are three main statuses for a full workflow:- Processing: presentations are currently being generated using your data.
- Completed: all presentations have been successfully generated from your data source.
- Failed: more than 10% of the presentations you tried to generate from your data source failed to generate.
Refreshing progress
The progress bar and card update automatically during the generation process. Sometimes you might want to manually refresh the progress, especially when generating hundreds of presentations in a single workflow. Click the Refresh button:.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=zWdP3AV89ldmM_id&q=85&s=8c61ca06edd6f805142216c13cd0f024)
Stop deck generation
AutoScaled is powerful automation software for generating sales decks at scale directly from your data. Sometimes you might make mistakes in your workflow setup that require you to stop the generation process early. To stop a presentation workflow that is actively generating presentations, click the Stop button at the top right of the page:.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=zWdP3AV89ldmM_id&q=85&s=e9202669b0aea618c3c1c0479d0312b6)
When not sure, do a test run first
In the last step of your workflow setup, there is an option to do a test run. The test run is limited to 5 records and allows you to preview how data will be populated in your slides. Stopping a run is a valid last resort, but it is better to validate your setup before running a full workflow. When in doubt, run a test first:.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=zWdP3AV89ldmM_id&q=85&s=99f22f18b35d32ede393c1f412e95700)

Error logs
If a presentation fails to generate, an error log is available for that deck. The log explains why generation failed. For runs via scheduling and triggers, you receive an email notification with the error details if an error occurs during the workflow run.Completed deck automation workflow
Once your workflow has successfully completed and all decks have been created from your data, the status will be marked as completed:.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=IaU_97P2Eq6BQDCk&q=85&s=70ba0bc0edf17f89994e8cac5d120801)
